It's that time of week that make grown men weep! Yes everyone! It's the Archival Movie Of the week! Well after an adventurous (right) trip into Open Source Movie land last week, we're back into Prelinger Land... Random Org?? You have a number for us??

Random.org - Why yes I do... today's number is..

286!!!

So, looking that up, the MOVIE OF THE WEEK IS...

Chevrolet Leader News (Vol. 1, No. 2) !!
Hmmmm another newsreel?? Actually, we'll keep it, as this is different from the other newsreel we saw a few weeks ago, as these are all chevy related and somewhat ridiculous.. The link to this is...

The filename extensions are awfully odd on this one. I had to save it and change the name. And, as is often the case, I can't get the RealVideo versions to work. Anyone else having troubles?

The RealVideo is working fine for me - you might want to try downloading the latest RealPlayer and see if that helps. Not sure.. anyone else having issues?

As for the file extensions, what was funky about them, exactly?

Some filenames seemed to be too long, and were cut off -- others had odd extensions like ".m1p" or something like that, but now I feel like a fool, because they all say ".mpeg"

Can't download newest real player, because then I'd have to get OS X, and that's not going to happen. And it only happens from time to time that the RealVideo doesn't work.

I renamed the file and it played okay.
